- Julia Stebbing -
Julia has always lived in north London and was brought up in Stanmore. Opposite her house were only fields and the local school was a mere 5-minute walk. The spinney nearby provided opportunities for jumping a stream, picking blackberries, and hiding in the woods. Switch to three children later, husband David, seven grandchildren nearby - 3 girls and 4 boys - and living closer to central London in Swiss Cottage. She used to write song lyrics and now loves writing children’s stories, especially in rhyming verse. She's a keen ceroc dancer, including ceroc holidays abroad, and more recently plays a game of boggle and does codewords. She never drinks coffee - thank goodness for tea!
Are those clouds or a herd of sheep? Imagining and looking at things differently always made her smile. Nivya has a degree in engineering and worked as a software professional, but she never felt this much content back then - The joy of illustrating giggles!
Nivya is a visual artist who initially started her art journey by exhibiting oil/acrylic paintings. Lately she developed her illustration portfolio and is now working with amazing authors.
It brings immense joy once she finishes each illustration and Nivya hopes people find the same happiness seeing her illustrations.
